Happy Valentine's Day from Oklahoma!

10 month and counting...

So I'm a little late getting these up, but she's been sick and fussy the last few days so I really haven't had a free hand. But she's down for a nap, the laundry is spinning, the dishwasher is humming, I've registered for my board exam, and there's a free moment before I start to to work on taxes to show you......10 months and counting...

What I learned is that sitting still with a sign at 10 months old doesn't really happen. We managed to finally get this.......

After a WHOLE lot of THESE......

So we finally resorted to tape.....

Until she discovered that tape is fun.......

So we did what we always threatened to do and hung her upside down.

And she LOVED it!

Winter Blues

I hate pediatrics in the winter. Cough, cough, sneeze, snot dribbling down, the musical sound of the suction machine. It's just not attractive anymore, and I'm over it.

Just a small vent after a long night of admitting.

I can't wait for spring.

Reading Rainbow

Her new favorite pastime. Look at my little scholar in training!

Janie brought this "farm" book when she came to visit....it's probably her favorite because it has some furry stuff she can pull at. And we have one with a bumpy green frog that's is apparently very tasty!

Dancing Queen

She definitely doesn't get her dancing skills from her parents! Look at my little white girl!

We actually have an even better video showing off some her break dancing skills, but I've got to edit it down for time purposes. May this weekend....

Snow Angel!

Abby got to experience her first snow... which was really ice. But that's how things go here in Oklahoma! She was really more interested in her spoon than in the snow itself. And she quickly grew bored of me taking her picture and wanted to go back in and play.
