Christmas 2009...a little late

The forces have conspired against me. I've been trying to post pictures from Christmas and the farm for a while now, but who would have thought that both my laptop and Dave's hard drive would die within 48 hours of each other?
But, just to be clear, my laptop didn't actually die. The screen, however, was shattered by a frustrated toddler. Thank goodness for good protection plans.
So, in no particular order because I can't get blogger to cooperate, here are pictures from the farm and our snowed-in Oklahoma Christmas.

Fireworks on the farm. We let Abby hold a sparkler, but she kept wanting to touch the fire. Maybe next year she'll get it....

The bonfire the guys set at the farm....notice the healthy branches of a good tree right next to the fire. Smart, gentlemen.

Pops. Which is the Mexican eqivalent of Bubba, so I learned. I guess it's better than Little Richard.

The DeLeon family. We were so happy to get to spend a little time with Desi before she went back to Ft. Campbell.

Switching gears, here's a couple of our Norman Christmas. We thankfully just planned to stay at mom's Christmas Eve just in case we couldn't get home because of the snow. Which we couldn't. Although Dave tried to go the gym that evening and got stuck. Someone nice helped to pull him out eventually.

The crazy shovel lady....ironically enough, this is probably one of mom's best pictures ever.
And, for memory's sake, a picture of the blowing snow.

Coming soon, January updates!
